Avia is looking for a strategic investment professional with a strong understanding of China’s gaming market and a global perspective. This role will identify new investment and business opportunities and assess potential areas for the company’s future expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the Chinese and global gaming markets, with a focus on products, teams, business models, and industry trends.
• Identify emerging opportunities across gaming and adjacent sectors, while building and maintaining a strong industry network and project pipeline.
• Support project screening, due diligence, commercial analysis, and investment recommendations; assess potential value and key risks.
• Evaluate new areas of expansion based on market potential, competition, business models, and resource requirements, and recommend practical market-entry or partnership strategies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of China’s gaming market, including game development, publishing, distribution, and monetization.
• Experience in strategic investment, corporate venture capital, gaming strategy, or consulting.
• A global mindset and the ability to independently research international markets and cross-border opportunities.
• Strong industry research, commercial analysis, and financial analysis skills.
• Sound judgment and the ability to move projects forward with limited information.
• Professional working proficiency in both Chinese and English.

Experience in gaming investments, M&A, new business incubation, or international markets is preferred.
