The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled ERP/MES Production Systems Manager to oversee the set up, maintenance, and optimization of our Odoo 17 (ERP) and ion (MES) platforms, ensuring seamless utilization of production operations and driving overall efficiency and data accuracy across the manufacturing facility.
How You'll Fulfill Your Mission
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Odoo 17 and ION systems, including configuration, data integrity, system updates, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing necessary process improvements and process mapping.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Shop Floor resources to ensure complete and comprehensive interaction of all teams and groups with the ERP/MES Systems and tools.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of the ERP/MES systems with other enterprise applications.
- Production Optimization:
- Analyze production data from the ION to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing and implementing process improvements to optimize production flow and generate actionable metrics
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the ERP/MES systems to streamline workflows and ensure quality control.
- Partner with production teams to implement production scheduling and planning strategies within the ERP/MES system.
- User Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for all levels of users on ERP/MES system functionality and best practices.
- Provide ongoing technical support to address user queries and resolve system-related issues.
- Gather feedback from users to identify areas for system improvement and customization.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Extract and analyze data from the ERP/MES systems to generate actionable insights for decision-making.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage ERP/MES system implementation projects, including requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives.
Why We Value You
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining ERP and MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in system configuration, data analysis, and reporting within ERP/MES platforms (Odoo 17, ION)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and production scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different departments.
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects from initiation to completion.
Desired Multipliers
- Experience with MES integration with shop floor equipment and data collection systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL) for data extraction and analysis.
- Ability to stay updated on emerging ERP/MES technologies and industry trends.
The pay range for this role is: $97,750-120,700
The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base salary range in the San Francisco Bay Area and excludes additional earnings such as bonus and benefits. If your salary requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply.
