You will work closely with our Leadership Team, and drive alignment across the entire organization, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Support.In this US&C Eater Operations Manager role on our Allocation & Strategy vertical, you will help shape the demand strategy and optimize investment allocation across consumer segments in the US. You’ll lead end-to-end efforts by designing and deploying high-impact projects and experiments to drive growth and efficiency. This role will partner closely with US General Managers, Territory (Local) Operations, CRM/Marketing, Product, Finance, Strategy & Planning, and Marketplace Operations. Core Activities Will Include
  • Tracking and analyzing demand performance to identify growth opportunities and key trends
  • Creating and executing promotional campaigns; measuring the efficiency of consumer promotions and providing recommendations for optimizations
  • Partnering with Marketplace Operations, Tech, Finance, and Local Operations to help develop investment allocation frameworks based on our business goals and guidance to efficiently grow consumer demand and retention
  • Working with other US & Canada Eater Ops teammates to set budget guidance for each segment and help build a comprehensive lifecycle management strategy
  • Partnering with Business Development on the deal assessment and tracking of large-scale consumer partnerships for Uber’s platform
What You'll Do
  • Analyze the cost efficiency and performance of different subsidy levers to inform investment allocation strategies across different consumer segments and markets
  • Define critical metrics and develop dashboards to monitor business performance
  • Take accountability for project outcomes, ensure delivery on project critical metrics, and keep others informed of progress
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with other Operations teams as well as with Product, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support to ensure insights inform broader critical initiatives
  • Develop and share comprehensive performance reports with stakeholders and senior leadership
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional work experience in a related field (consulting, investment banking, technology, operations, strategy, or analytics)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of professional work experience in a related field, such as consulting, investment banking, strategy, operations, or analytics
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and SQL proficiency
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Experience problem-solving and proposing unique solutions to complex issues
  • Familiarity with CRM or other consumer marketing channels and tools
  • Strong experience building and executing complex processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to a sophisticated audience
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis to provide deep measurable insights
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with teams and cross-functional partners
  • Strong business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to develop strategies and make decisions quickly
  • SQL proficiency and experience with involved data analytics using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Bachelor degree
