Operations Coordinator

Location: Zagreb, Croatia

About the Role

The Operations Coordinator role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on Uber’s operations in Croatia through the development and operationalizing of strategic initiatives.

You will interact with various external partners and closely work with a wide range of internal functions such as Regional Operations, Policy, Community Operations, Legal, and Product.

This role calls for creative problem-solving, analytics, strategic thinking, strong execution, and interpersonal ability. A person in this role is comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, loves solving problems, and is able to thrive in a startup culture.

What You’ll Do

● Be a hustling multi-tasker, supporting the Local Operations manager on a variety of tasks. These include solving complex business problems, city launches, monitoring competitive environment & more

● Collect, analyze, and report performance data. Implement analysis that will deliver practical insights

● Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Tax, Legal, Product, and Regional Teams to deliver the best possible results for projects

● You will deep dive into the experience of both drivers and riders, develop and execute projects to bring out best practices, and help grow Uber in Croatia

● Consolidate results into action plans. These include tracking the performance of fleet partners, enhancing the service quality of individual fleet partners, and analyzing cost-effectiveness of our operations

● May include other activities such as working on business development, creation of locally relevant CRM copies, and testing of new products and features

What You’ll Need

● Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in a fast-growing environment with experience in operations, analytics, and project management

● Solid analytical ability, turning insights into strategies, and driving executions in a scalable and efficient way

● Strong communication skills both in writing and speaking

● Proficiency in Croatian and English

● Knowledge of and interest in the Croatian mobility space and can do attitude

● Ability and willingness to learn and develop

● Microsoft Excel or Gsheets knowledge is strongly preferred, SQL knowledge is nice to have
