About The RoleWe are looking for an IndiaSA manager who can lead and scale the dealership channel to drive new vehicle acquisition and improve supply quality on the platform. The role will be heavy on stakeholder management and the person will work closely with regional teams, external stakeholders (OEMs) and central channels team. The person will design and execute processes, projects and communications for new vehicle buying and own the incentive strategy for new vehicle addition and acquisition via car dealershipsTo ensure a high quality of vehicles on the platform, there is a need to ensure that older vehicles get replaced and new vehicles continue to get added. The person will work with different stakeholders in the ecosystems including OEMs, Car Dealerships, Financiers and Insurers to enable New Vehicle buying and enrolment.
What The Candidate Will Do
- Create and execute a communication plan for Uber’s driver value proposition and drive new vehicle purchase
- Create and execute a plan for setting up dealerships as a channel for vehicle acquisition. Work with regional teams to set up acquisition channel, conduct events and enrol dealer partners
- Increase platform enrolment for new vehicles sold and maximise commercial vehicle penetration in priority markets
- Establish and maintain relationships with OEM teams and share key insights on Commercial vehicle sales trends and ride share requirements
- Closely track market wise sales, signups and conversion funnel. Improve acquisition using available channels including dealerships
- Create and own incentive strategy to drive new vehicle purchase and acquisition on the platform
- Prepare and maintain dashboards to measure channel penetration and efficiency
- Prepare and give business reviews to Uber's senior management regarding progress against defined KPIs
- 4-5 years experience in Channel sales/ FMCG sales/ Automotive sales/ transport related industries
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work efficiently and influence others without exerting direct authority, as well as a capacity to coach, develop and inspire a team
- Willingness to travel across India (50% travel expected)
- Basic- intermediate SQL skills
