About The RoleThe Growth & Operations Manager role is part of our Northern Europe rides organisation. Together with the General Manager for the Nordics, this role is responsible for making Uber a success in Norway and helping our business in this key market grow.This hands-on role calls for a combination of customer obsession, savvy analytics, critical thinking and strong execution. You will have to think creatively to find ways to continuously enhance Uber's value proposition to our users (riders & drivers) and optimize their customer journey in Norway.You will act as the local implementation lead for our global and regional programs. You will support primarily the growth efforts in Norway which may include helping to improve the driver onboarding process, finding new growth opportunities, and improving engagement and satisfaction of existing riders and drivers. What You’ll Do
  • Driver acquisition and engagement: Craft and implement the vision, strategy and day to day tactics for driver partner acquisition and engagement through data-centric analytics, creative campaigns, and partnership programs
  • Rider acquisition and engagement: Develop and lead conversion strategy for riders by working on both new riders and engaging with existing riders and growing the use cases for Uber
  • Develop and manage partnerships: Develop and manage strategic partnerships with larger fleets of drivers and develop a compelling value proposition towards them
  • Project management: Strategically lead multiple projects in the Belgian business and responsible for communicating progress/challenges with the senior stakeholders
  • Cross-functional collaboration and partner management: Work collaboratively with local, regional and global teams like policy, communications, product, marketing, legal and customer support
What You Will Need
  • Min 3 years experience in a technology/consulting/or other fast-paced operational environments
  • Fluent in Norwegian & English
  • Analytical skills: You can independently extract data from a variety of sources and use it to generate useful insights (SQL, data analytics, and visualization skills preferable)
  • Project management skills: You have a proven understanding of the project management fundamentals, and can implement projects
  • Business Insight: Understanding of how our business operates and how it makes money and sustains profitable growth, now and in the future
  • Communication skills: Using interpersonal skills and situational awareness to clearly deliver information to a variety of audiences
  • Planning and Organization: Setting up and maintaining processes and tools to appropriately structure and keep track of tasks and projects
  • Problem Solving: Efficiently resolving issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic and common sense
  • Partner Management: Taking time to build helpful relationships; earning the trust of others within the organization through strong situational awareness and reliability
  • Teamwork: Demonstrates optimism, respects others and works well in a team
  • Ability and willingness to travel, mainly within Norway, Sweden & Netherlands, up to 20% of the time
